THQ Inc. today announced that an agreement has been reached which sees Koch Media appointed as official THQ distribution partner in Spain and Italy with immediate effect.
The appointment of Koch Media follows THQ’s business realignment which commenced early in 2012 and saw the company exit the traditional kid’s licenced videogame category and focus on its core game franchises and digital initiatives, while implementing plans to become a more streamlined organisation.
Annie Sullivan, Managing Director of Export & European Market Development, THQ stated “Following a strategic review of our operations in Spain and Italy, we were looking for a distribution partner who has the most effective networks locally to market THQ’s products. Koch Media fits this requirement perfectly.
